EQUIPMENT LEASE AGREEMENT

This agreement is to establish the terms of the use of 1 Twin Cities Krewe de Rivere Float and is hereby entered into on this date.

The lessor and lessee agree to the following terms and conditions: 

Lease

1. The lessee is using 1 Twin Cities Krewe de Riviere float for a parade in Monroe, La.

2. The term of lease will begin on February 7, 2026 and conclude on February 8, 2026.

3. The lessee agrees to maintain insurance on float with indemnification of the Krewe de Riviere.

4. Krewe de Riviere float will be returned will all trash, debris removed and bathrooms clean with any waste products removed or be liable for a $500.00 fine.

Obligations

5. The lessee will use the device in a proper manner, complying with all applicable laws and ordinances which may in any way relate to the possession or use of the device.

6. The lessee is responsible for keeping the device in good repair and in working order during the rental term.

7. The lessee will assume all risks of loss or damage caused to the device. No loss or damage caused to the device will cause the rest of this agreement to become void.

8. At the end of the rental agreement, the lessee will return Krewe de Riviere float the lessor in the same operating condition, with all trash and debris removed and all bathrooms will be clean with all waste products removed or be charged a $500.00 fee.

9. The return of the device shall be at the lessee's expense to the address of the lessor provided.

Liability

10. The lessee releases the lessor from any liability due to expenses, damages, or injury caused by the usage of the Krewe de Riviere float.

11. The device shall at all times remain the property of the lessor.

12. This agreement will be governed under the jurisdiction of the state of Louisiana. The undersigned have read this agreement and consent to abide by its terms 

Deposit: A $500 security/damage deposit is included in the cost of the rental and will be refunded by check within 5-7 business days if float is returned satisfactory.

Clean Up: Before returning float to the den, be sure you have completed the following:

• All personal belongings removed

• Entire float swept off

• No garbage/debris of any kind left behind

• Kitty litter/bathroom buckets must be dumped, washed, and sanitized

If the above items are not checked off upon return, no portion of the security/damage deposit will be refunded. 

Damages: Any damage of any kind will be the financial responsibility of the lessee. If damages exceed the $500 security/damage deposit, repair invoices will be mailed/emailed/submitted and expected to be paid with in 5-7 business days from submittal. 

Fees: All online purchases include a 4% digital payment processing fee. To avoid this fee, please pay with cash or check, by mailing payments to; 1871 Hudson Cir N, Monroe, LA 71201.
